A Tyneside PR firm serving the tech, creative and live music industries has unveiled a new web development division as it looks to expand its operations throughout the United Kingdom.
JAC Media, the brainchild of former business journalist Jon Corbett, has today launched The Web Lab offering affordable SEO and web development solutions for SMEs.
The company, which opened its doors in 2014 and is housed in the Ouseburn Valley has also recruited three new members of staff – including a web designer and a trainee marketing executive – to help fulfil its long-term ambition of providing the nation’s SMEs with a digital platform to get noticed online and has plans to open an office in Manchester and London.
Speaking about the expansion of JAC Media and the launch of The Web Lab, Managing Director, Jon Corbett, said: “It’s an exciting time here in JAC Media world and the time is right to move in a slightly different direction and offer something more to the businesses we serve thanks to the introduction of The Web Lab.
“We’ve built a solid reputation for building headlines for our clients in the media and enhancing their reputation and brands online, but it’s a natural progression for us to offer more.
“If companies need an affordable web platform, are struggling to keep up with the competition and want to get found in the search engines but don’t where to start, we can help.
“We’ve also added some amazing young and talented people to the team to breathe new life and ideas into the company. My wife Rebecca has came on board to help spearhead The Web Lab and will be responsible for the design and build of awesome websites.”
The Web Lab – which will run alongside JAC Media’s PR offering – is now open for business and provides tiered web design and SEO packages for small businesses and start-ups.
“We’ll continue to work with the region’s and nation’s media to raise the profile of the amazing organisations we work with across the music, tech and creative industries and we’re proud to now have a specialist web and SEO wing,” adds Jon.
“If a business wants an informal chat about what we can offer and wants to breakdown some of the myths around the world of PR, web design and SEO, we’re here for them.”
